Scared! Scorpion in library of IIT Madras

Time : 10.45pm (IST) (3 July 2018) Location: 2nd-floor study chamber, Library, IIT Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India This was the scariest moment of this year. I was busy updating a test case for my project on the laptop. Then, I relaxed and moved a little back on my chair to sit comfortably. Suddenly, saw a big scorpion (at least 30 cm in length). I couldn't take the picture of it, was in a hurry to alert everyone. It looked exactly like the one in the picture but was of brownish-white colour.  Would you say I was lucky to be sitting at the corner of my row?  1. High chances to see and make the distance.  2. If not 1, then I will be the first person to get bitten and then.. god knows what can happen!  What was my next step?  I alerted all the students near me to make the distance. If yes, what treatment technology is suitable in terms of economic feasibility and size? 2. How many times can the treated water be reused? 3. What combination of technologies can be used to achieve the aim?
